I went to the waterfall today and shot some stuff.
There is no story here, just walked around and they turned it off.

Clouds

This afternoon, it was sunny and kinda hot, just like a normal july day, oh its almost october, I'm sorry.
Well anyway, I was outside trying to figure out the new sprinkler I got and I looked up and saw some really dark clouds, but they were the cool kind, the dark ones with the light kind of coming through like almost iridescent, if you know what I mean.
So I ran in the house and dried off a little so as not to get my camera all wet, grabbed my camera and ran outside to shoot said clouds.
Well in the 2 1/2 -3 minutes it took me to do this, it had started pouring down rain, and the clouds changed.That really sucks when that happens.
So anyway, I shot this one.

Dinner with the Dynamo

There is a charity event with the Houston Dynamo that started last year, called Dine with the Dynamo.
G and I went last year, it was super fun, we sat with Tally Hall and his wife, had a great time.
This year it was quite different, but still fun. G had a good time, although he isn't quite as enamored with the guys as he was last year. I think because he is going to be a Dynamo, he see's them as peers not famous sports guys. HAHA! you think I'm kidding, maybe half kidding.
But anyway we talked to lots of the guys and got lots of autographs and pictures.
This year we sat with Adam Moffat, he is from Scotland and is very nice, he and G talked alot about soccer and had fun.
We won an autographed Dynamo Ball at the end

It was a good night, we all had fun.

A Walk to the Donut Shop

G and J wanted to walk up to the donut shop for breakfast today, so we did.
Along the way we saw a magical flying telephone pole,

a fire truck rushing to something,

A new bar,

The place that hates UPS, as do most of us,

on the way back, they guys thought they might want to take the bus, 

but it ended up going in the wrong direction,

Stopped to play cops and robbers in the IRS grass

Mixed thought on this one

Finally. we made it home where G decided to show me the Shaka Dork!

Game Day

Really...
Did you think there would be a Saturday That didn't feature a G shot?
Today they won 3-0 and G scored a goal again this week!!
It was a penalty kick, from a handball inside the box.
G walked up, and he totally psyched the guy out.
Easy in.

Of course, I didn't get any of it on film because I was watching it.
What a horrible sports shooter I would be.
But heres a good one of him walking around

The Rain Made My Day

It rained for  a record breaking second day in a row!!
I don't mind telling you, I was Excited!!!
Today was another long day but after tomorrow things will probably get back to normal
Todays snaps were again shot with my iPhone. I have to say, I am a little unimpressed with the quality of this camera. But hey, it really is just a phone.

Flower on the Sidewalk

Today I was walking and I saw this flower on the sidewalk.
I thought, something is still growing here in this drought.
It was like a sign that it's not all that bad, EVERYTHING is not dying.

So basically, it made my day.
(I shot it with my iPhone, so quality was compromised a little.)

You guy DO know you can leave a comment every now and then, just so I know people are actually coming.
Not that it really matters, I will do this anyway.

I am and will continue to be having a most positive and wonderful day, in the way that I am O, so happy and full of the energy that is not negative.

Flying Tut!!

Today I went to the Museum Sculpture Garden to shoot some pictures. When we got there, there was no where to park so we drove around and around and around, til we found a place. When we get up to the Museum, there was a huge truck in front and a small crowd gathered around it. What did we see?  A giant Tut. They were installing part of the King Tut exhibit that starts in October. So we had to stay and join the crowd, right? So here it is for your viewing pleasure, the flying, dancing Tut. I wish I could post video.
